And now I exhort you

Acts 27:22

Let the heavens rejoice,
    and let the earth be glad,
let the sea be moved,

the fields and all things that are in them
    shall be joyful.
Then shall all the trees of the woods rejoice
    before the face of the Lord,
        because he cometh…
Psalms 96[95]:11-13

Drop down dew, ye heavens, from above,
    and let the clouds rain the just:
let the earth be opened,
    and bud forth a saviour…

Now the God of hope fill you
    with all joy and peace
        in believing;

Christmas Story from Luke

And it came to pass

And all went to be enrolled,
   every one into his own city.

And Joseph also went up from Galilee,
   out of the city of Nazareth,
into Judea,
   to the city of David,
     which is called Bethlehem:
because he was of the house
   and family of David,

To be enrolled with Mary
   his espoused wife,
     who was with child.

   king of the Jews?
For we have seen his star in the east,
   and are come to adore him.

And king Herod hearing this
   was troubled,
     and all Jerusalem with him.
